The Colorado Flag and Unique Colorado Towns
The Colorado State Flag is represented by three horizontal stripes which are of equal width. The middle stripe is white; the upper and the bottom stripes are blue. There is a oval red “C”, fitted with gold sits on top of the middle white stripe. The blue stripes are meant to represent the skies, the white represents the snowcapped mountains, the red represents the red colored earth, and the gold stands for the sunshine enjoyed by the state. The city lies along the Big Thompson River and this prime location has a small tightly knit population of 5,858. This town has been named after a Missouri native who is known as Joel Estes, who founded this community in 1859. The main street in Estes Park is home to many restaurants and gift shops where visitors can purchase Colorado Products. Whether people are shopping for locally blown glass or the Colorado State Flag, they can find it in Estes Park.
The city of Manitou Springs is located in El Paso County in Colorado, which has a small population of 4,980. There is a primary path which cuts across the center of town, and it is directly connected to Pike’s Peak which can be easily seen from Manitou Springs.
